Hey Everyone!

So, it's been a while since I've updated my journal. I've been busy for the past few months. I recently moved from New York City to New Jersey. Roughly 70 miles away from old home. It took me a while to settle into my new place. It's really different from living in the city with all the hustle and bustle  and noise since I basically live in the country right now! LOL! I must say the difference is jarring! It gets pitch black at night and I see deer, foxes and other creatures roaming through my back yard on a daily basis! There's also a huge cornfield at the end of my street which I could see from out my bedroom window! It's very different, but I like it.

Anyway, I will be submitting a lot of my art work soon. Some are old, other's are new. But all of it revolves around my own Original Characters. I really wish I had more free time so that I can continue my comic I've started a few years ago, but sadly I don't... Real life took over. However, I still want to draw and develop them any way I can. So a lot of these works will be short, little strips that really don't have a point or a funny punch-line, but hopefully you'll get a sense on who my characters are and their personality.

I also would like to do commissions, but I know I don't have any online presence or a huge following, hopefully that will change soon. But if anyone is reading this right now and is really interested in a commission, please feel free to PM me!

Yeah, it's been a very long time since I've posted anything substantial on this site. What can I say... Life is a bitch and it hit me hard for the past couple of years. I was in a pretty bad spot mentally and lost motivation to do the things I enjoy doing. In a way, I'm still trying to shake this depression off, but everything is a process... It's just going to take some time and I hope I can do it.

Anyway, I don't want to get too into my personal issues on here. All I wanted to say is that I want to try to re-establish my online presence on this site and others. I know a long time has passed and a lot of my watchers/viewers are probably no longer around, changed accounts or simply lost interest in my work. It's understandable. It's like I have to start all over again... I will try.

So what does this mean?
Well, my little Deviant Art page is long due for a cleaning. Which means a lot of my older work will be deleted or dumped into scraps. I want to post more current, finished and polished work on here. I'll post my sketches, W.I.P.'s, and other things on my Tumblr account.

I also want to focus my attention on my own original work. I know... I'm choosing the road that will least likely lead to popularity, but I want to spend what little free time I have doing what I enjoy doing. I was never really into drawing fanart. If you look in my gallery you'll see that there are only slim-pickings there. I do love reading comics, playing games, watching anime and movies but I never felt compelled to create art for them. Whenever I attempt to, I always have this nagging sensation that I should be working on my own stuff. That my own ideas that I have stewing in my head needs some love even though nobody would care for them. I'm not saying that I will never draw them again! There will be the occasional fanart here and there, but it will most likely be for Tekken since that is my most favorite franchise! lol!

-Yes... I did dabbled and wrote a few Tekken related fic's. I am somewhat retired now. I'm not sure I'll write another one. Check them out if you like.

It's been ages since I've updated this page! There are couple or reasons for this...

My first reason is that I've been pretty busy. I'm in college again trying to finish my degree after a 4 year hiatus. I really want to finish college so I can get a decent job to take care of my child. (yes I am a mom ) So, I'm really trying my best  pass my classes so I can get on with life. Thankfully, I'm only 5 classes away from my degree! Yippee!

My second and most important reason, is that I've been feeling kind of down  for the past few months. I feel like I'm going through some kind of  mid-life crisis even though I'm no where near 'mid-life.'  I'm getting older, I have a kid,  and I want things to change, which is the reason why I've decided to go back to college. I also feel that it's time to think realistically. I always dream of becoming a successful artist. I wanted a job that revolves around art. I really wanted to be a comic book artist or an illustrator, or even a  professional graphic designer. I've held on to this dream for so many years and so far it never happened. I personally believe this dream will be nothing more than just a dream and it's time for me to move on. Realistically, my drawing skills is not up to par with Marvel or DC and any jobs out there for a Graphic Designer is very very competitive.  

This all leaves me questioning  why I should bother creating art or even questioning my ability as an artist. I just didn't have any motivation to continue which is why I haven't posted anything in a while. However, I can never see myself putting down the pencil for good. Sadly, I am slowly accepting the fact that some dreams will remain dreams.  Ironically, as I'm slowly accepting this reality, I feel motivated to continue creating and drawing stuff. It's weird but it's true.

Anyway, I don't want to bore you all with me complaining about my life so I'll just leave it at that....

It's my first video ever. I know very little about editing and compressing video and of course it was the hardest part. I've used "Cam Studio" to record my desktop. It's a free application and easy to use. (Thank God) Then I edited the video in "Sony Vegas Pro." I'm a total noob at that program and had to look up tons of "How to" videos on Youtube to get the job done. I wish the quality of the video was better but like I said, know next to nothing about video compression. Anyway I hope you guys like it! It was a learning experience for me and hope to make an even better one soon!
